One otherwise normal October day in Copenhagen, some friends and I climbed to one of the highest spots in the city to see what we could see π

London’s West End
It’s been two years, almost to the day, that I was in London’s West End. Like the rest of my 2010, it was another incredible experience.
This one included seeing a live performance of Les Miserables.Β You may have seen the movie with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway. It’s pretty great! But it’s nothing compared to the live performance. Seeing it in personΒ is jaw dropping, tear-inducing, and unbelievably touching. And we were only in the nosebleed section (as college students, we have pretty tight restrictions).
Obviously this particular image is not of the performance (no cameras allowed!) but of a particular art installation in the theater lobby. We were all milling about waiting to be allowed entrance in this incredible space, an old structure with new fixtures, when the bubbles just caught my eye.
I snapped a quick picture and showed it to my travel mates who had not yet noticed them. It was cool to uncover a different perspective!
Rainy Days
Sometimes rainy days just hit the spot! It’s nice to curl up with a book (or an entire season of a favorite tv show) and just veg. Take a break from the stress for a few hours and come back to your duties a bit refreshed.
A rainy afternoon seemed like a great time to take photos. This one was my favorite.
Getting flowers :)
I’m a girl (obvs duh). And as a girl I am allowed such girly measures as aww-ing and ooh-ing when receiving flowers. Then (because that’s what people in my generation do) instagramming it in the best possible light π
Six Month Graduation Anniversary
I’m just realizing that it’s been over 6 months since I graduated college…wow time flies when you’re dealing with grad school…
But this post is about more than my patting myself of my back for my stupendous achievement. This was all possible because of my parents. Throughout the whole process that was college, my parents were always there to help me (be it crazy roommates, impossible professors, or getting that awesome internship). We don’t always see eye to eye and that can be hard. But they are my parents and they’ve done the best they could to raise a daughter in a land they don’t understand and hope for the best.
Summer is here! (and I’m a little late to the game for a reason)
So I make no secret my love of winter.
Don’t get me wrong, I love being warm and cozy. But I would much rather be able to add layers of clothing/blankets/warm snuggly puppies to ward off the chill than be sweating, sticky, and smell. But as it is now officially summer (as of 4 days ago), I do have to accept that it is definitely beautiful outside:
And I will just leave the rest of you to enjoy it outside while I watch from my nice cool home π
Hands and Rings and Heads oh my!
Flowers
I’ve loved roses ever since I was little and my dad would take me on a walk around a local garden in India. And I think flowers in bloom are beautiful. This was actually just a random shot that I came across months after the fact. It caught my eye so I thought I’d share π
Botanical Gardens During the Holidays
I love the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and have wonderful memories from each of my visits there! These are from my last time, over the holidays in December as we attempted not to be totally stressed out by finals…

Swinging Around
It’s now officially summer! And I just want it to be cool again…swinging during that late winter day would hit the spot quite nicely π
