Summer is here! (and I’m a little late to the game for a reason)

So I make no secret my love of winter.

Don’t get me wrong, I love being warm and cozy. But I would much rather be able to add layers of clothing/blankets/warm snuggly puppies to ward off the chill than be sweating, sticky, and smell. But as it is now officially summer (as of 4 days ago), I do have to accept that it is definitely beautiful outside:

And I will just leave the rest of you to enjoy it outside while I watch from my nice cool home 🙂

Botanical Gardens During the Holidays

Lots of colors!
Lots of colors!

I love the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and have wonderful memories from each of my visits there! These are from my last time, over the holidays in December as we attempted not to be totally stressed out by finals…

Wedding time for Dave and Karen

So I’ve officially shot my first wedding (and hopefully not my last) and I finally have post-able proof!.

Dave and Karen had a beautiful lakeside wedding at the beginning of May. It was full of laughter and bunny ears. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves 🙂

Overlooking Florence, Summer 2010

Florence, Italy is an amazing, sprawling city full of art, history, and beautiful architecture. One can quite easily experience it just by stepping outside of one’s apartment or hotel room. But the best way to get an eagle eye’s view (besides climbing to the top of the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND as well), is to climb to Piazzale Michelangelo and see the city for miles.

Foggy Georgia Tech, Fall 2012

Georgia Tech has a beautiful campus, full of greenery and technology. The newest building on campus at least while I was there, was the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, an extremely high-tech, green building with 5 floors and countless wall outlets (the latter being much more significant!). My favorite part though was the rooftop garden which provided a central view of campus. One particularly foggy night, I was fortunate enough to be there with my camera.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens with friends, Summer 2012

It’s always nice to go on adventures! Especially when they follow long and arduous semesters of college. I decided to take my camera with me on a trip to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens with friends. There are just a few of my favorite pictures.
